The Dunhinda falls is one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful waterfall and 64 meters (210 ft) high. The water fall is created by the river called Badulu Oya which goes through the Badulla town. Its name was created from the smoky dew drops spray which surrounds the area at the foot of the waterfall.
LOCATION
Dunhida falls locates in Badulla District 5 kilometres from Badulla town in Sri Lanka.You can go there via Badulla Mahiyangana Road. Then you have to go about 2 km along a foot path through the jungle.
IMPORTANT
- Small entrance fee has to pay.
- Highly recommending to not to bath.
