Rawana falls
Description
Rawana Ella is one of the best waterfalls in our country. It is possible that Rawana Falls has a high tourist attraction. Kirindi River is the source of Rawana Falls. Rawana falls to a height of 3445 ft from the sea level. The waterfall is also 82 feet (25 m) high. This beautiful waterfall, surrounded by cliffs and condominiums, is part of the Rawana Ella Wildlife Reserve.
An ancient concept of Rama Ravana, The Princess Sita kidnapped by Ravana and hide in a cave near this stream. Ravana Ella temple and Dowa ancient temple is also located close to this valley
Rawana falls is located at the 21st Km of the Ella-Wellawaya Road (A23). The Ella Station is about six kilometers away.
